Meet Dr. Haynes, CEO/Founder
Trevor Haynes, DPM, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Elite Foot & Ankle Associates, Dr. Haynes developed and built the podiatry program as well as developed a lower extremity wound care center while at Avera, Dr. Haynes provides every patient with quality care knowing that the ability to move without pain is paramount when it comes to quality of life.
Originally from Idaho, Dr. Haynes attended Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology. From there, he attended podiatry school at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (now the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine) in Independence, Ohio.
After earning his medical degree in 2012, Dr. Haynes moved his family to Houston where he completed a three-year foot and ankle reconstructive surgery residency at West Houston Medical Center. While there, he trained under the renowned Dr. Samuel Mendicino, as well as 30 other podiatrists and orthopedists.
In 2015, Dr. Haynes completed his prestigious residency and moved his family to Brookings, South Dakota, where he joined the Avera Medical Group. Dr. Haynes performed various bunion, hammertoe, and other foot and ankle surgeries. Dr. Haynes enjoys treating sports injuries and correcting bunion deformities. He also has extensive experience in wound care of the lower extremity.
After nearly three years in South Dakota, Dr. Haynes felt it was time to move his family from the Midwest back to the area he grew to love, the Pacific Northwest.
Dr. Haynes is a triple board-certified foot and ankle surgeon. He is a member of the Academy of Minimally Invasive Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
He is a member of the Academy of Minimally Invasive Foot and Ankle Surgery and is the current Scientific Chair and President Elect.
Dr. Haynes performs surgery at Adventist Health Portland, Plaza Ambulatory Surgery Center, Legacy Mt. Hood and Mt. Scott Surgery Center.
Dr. Haynes is highly skilled in minimally invasive foot surgery and performs many surgeries without hardware and can be done in the office, which can be safer for patients and saves them time and money.
Dr. Haynes has been married for over 25 years. He enjoys sports, the outdoors, and spending time with his wife and children. He also coaches AAU basketball and has his own AAU club, PNW Hustle, located in Happy Valley.
Meet Dr. Belnap
Tyler Belnap, DPM is a highly experienced foot and ankle surgeon that will be serving his patients in the Happy Valley office and has hospital privileges at Adventist Portland and Legacy Mt. Hood. Dr Belnap has a passion for not only treating, but also educating his patients on what their foot problems are and how to overcome them.
Before moving to the Pacific Northwest, Dr Belnap grew up in Utah, where he stayed to attend college at Utah Valley University. He graduated with a degree in Spanish and then attended podiatry school at Midwestern University in Phoenix, AZ. While there, he regularly served in the community and was awarded the Samuel Mason Pioneering Service Award. He also held multiple leadership positions including class president and president of the sports medicine club.
For residency, Dr Belnap moved to the east coast to train at Northwell Health – Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He received advanced training in rearfoot and ankle surgeries and had the opportunity to work with D-1 athletes at Fordham University. He was awarded Resident of the Year during his 2nd year.
After residency, Dr. Belnap has privileges at Adventist Health Portland, Legacy Mt. Hood, and Plaza Ambulatory Surgery Center. Dr Belnap moved with his wife to the Portland area. He practiced for the last 2 years primarily in Vancouver, WA prior to joining Elite Foot and Ankle Associates.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and daughter, Maeve.
Dr Belnap will have privileges at Adventist Health Portland, Providence Willamette Falls, Providence Portland, Providence St Vincent, Providence Beaverton, and Legacy Meridian Park.
In his spare time, Dr Belnap enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah. Together they enjoy exploring the mountains and coastline. He is a 3x Ironman and has competed in a number of ultramarathons.

Meet Dr. McManus
Daniel McManus, DPM, is a highly experienced foot and ankle surgeon that will be serving his patients in the Sandy and Canby locations. Dr. McManus has a passion for educating patients on the nature of their foot and ankle issues, and coming up with the best plan and treatment that works best for the individual.
Dr. McManus grew up in Cincinnati Ohio, where he majored in neuropsychology and minored in chemistry at the University of Cincinnati. He was the psychology club president and graduated as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He then attended Kent State University of Podiatric Medicine, where he served as the academic counsel representative for his class. Dr. McManus then moved to Brooklyn New York where he completed his surgical residency at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Dr. McManus performs surgery at Adventist Health Portland, Legacy Mt. Hood, and Plaza Ambulatory Surgery Center.
Dr. McManus in his free time loves to hike, read, watch movies, run, and He enjoys spending time with his wife Caitlyn, who is a podiatrist as well with Oregon Foot Clinic, and his dog Milu , who he met while in Podiatry School.
Meet Dr. Sandhu
Dr. Ravneet Sandhu AACFAS is a podiatrist with specialized training in trauma, forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, and Charcot neuroarthropathy. She earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine and completed her surgical residency at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Washington, where she developed a strong foundation in complex limb salvage and reconstructive procedures.
She has presented at regional and national conferences, including the IFAF Seattle Seminar and ACFAS Complications series, and has contributed to multiple research projects focused on surgical outcomes and treatment algorithms for complex foot and ankle pathology.
Originally from Roseburg, Oregon, Dr. Sandhu is proud to be back in her home state, where she can stay close to her roots and her family. She is deeply committed to building strong relationships with her patients and believes in truly listening to their concerns. Her approach to care is centered on open communication, trust, and shared decision-making. She considers it a privilege to advocate for her patients and help them get back on their feet—literally and figuratively.
Outside of work, Dr. Sandhu enjoys traveling with friends, exploring new restaurants, and listening to music. A lifelong Oregon Ducks fan and die-hard Las Vegas Raiders supporter, she also loves staying active through sports and hiking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest."

Meet Dr. Frank Sheaffer
Dr. Frank Sheaffer comes to us from Pennsylvania where he graduated from Bloomsburg University with an undergraduate degree in Biology in 2006. He then continued his studies at the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL where he earned his doctorate in Podiatric Medicine in 2010. Following this, he completed a 3-year surgical residency at Heritage Valley Health System in Western Pennsylvania and is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Sheaffer is our newest Doctor and will be seeing patients out of our Beaverton and King City offices.
In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Sheaffer is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking in America's National Parks and has visited almost half of them. He enjoys weightlifting, fishing, golf, and cooking.
Meet Karie Haynes, Office Manager
Karie is the office manager and wife of Dr. Haynes. She has vast experience working in managerial roles as well as owning her own businesses. Karie graduated from Weber State University in 2006. She is in charge of keeping the office running smoothly and efficiently. She also runs her own business on the side working with nurses in the Philippines. Karie is also trained in ballet and has performed in many shows including the Nutcracker and during the halftime of a Seattle Seahawks game. She has taught ballet for years and is certified in Barre and Pilates.
Karie enjoys dance and the arts, as well as spending time with Dr. Haynes and her family. If she’s not at the office, you may find her at a Barre or Pilates class.
